The Bollywood sex symbol arrived at Cannes Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides screening in a black see-through dress - with visible underwear.

"It's a butt show," writes the Hindustan Times.

Her daring looks received a mixed response on fashion blog High Heel Confidential.

User Anon1 commented: "The Cannes red carpet is famous for starlets showing up in outrageous outfits and she got what she wanted - attention."

"The problem is that the hair and make-up is not quite gelling with the rest of the look," said another poster.

Lady Gaga's Twitter followers exceed 10 mil mark

Is there anything that Lady Gaga can’t do?

Her larger-than-life stage wardrobe aside, Lady Gaga seems to rule the music charts, the award shows and now, Twitter.

The pop star set another record this time by becoming the first Twitter user to garner 10 million followers.

This certainly comes in time for Gaga, who is set to drop her much anticipated sophomore album Born This Way on May 23.

Did we mention that she beat the equally ubiquitous Justin Bieber to be the first person with 10 million followers on the social networking website?

The pair has been locked in an unofficial social networking battle since last year, with Gaga, 25, leading ahead the teenage boy wonder when it comes to their online following.

Needless to say, the Judas hitmaker was thrilled, as she tweeted:"10MillionMonsters! I'm speechless, we did it! It(‘)s an illness how I love you."

Madonna working with daughter on new song

It turned out that Madonna’s 14-year-old daughter Lourdes is not only a fashionista, but also an aspiring musician.

NME.com reported that the Queen of Pop is now working on a new track called It’s So Cool with her teenage daughter, hoping that it will help kick start the latter’s music career.

Expect to hear (from left) Madonna and daughter Lourdes on a song soon.

The single has been brewing for eight years, with the famous mother and daughter first recording it in 2003 and reworking it in a New York studio in February this year.

No word yet on when and how the single will be released, but it is said that Madonna is considering including it in her next album or in the soundtrack to her upcoming new film, W.E..

"Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artists in the world. She's the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the industry," revealed a source.
