Arnold separates from wife of 25 years

As his post-Governor showbiz career continues to bloom, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s marriage with Maria Shriver is unfortunately heading south.

Shriver, 55, stopped staying under the same roof with Schwarzenegger, 63, for the last few weeks, sparking off talks of a failing marriage, which the action megastar confirmed through a statement recently.

The statement reads: "This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship.

"We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public."

The pair tied the knot in 1986 and celebrated their 25^th wedding anniversary last month. Together they raise four children, Katherine, 21, Christina, 19, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13.

Madonna working with daughter on new song

It turned out that Madonna’s 14-year-old daughter Lourdes is not only a fashionista, but also an aspiring musician.

NME.com reported that the Queen of Pop is now working on a new track called It’s So Cool with her teenage daughter, hoping that it will help kick start the latter’s music career.

Expect to hear (from left) Madonna and daughter Lourdes on a song soon.

The single has been brewing for eight years, with the famous mother and daughter first recording it in 2003 and reworking it in a New York studio in February this year.

No word yet on when and how the single will be released, but it is said that Madonna is considering including it in her next album or in the soundtrack to her upcoming new film, W.E..

"Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artists in the world. She's the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the industry," revealed a source.

Jaden Smith is a millionaire at 12

Welcome to the millionaire club, Jaden Smith!

At the age of 12, Jaden Smith, the son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, is already a millionaire.

The kid has reportedly bagged a seven-figure salary for his involvement in two Karate Kid films.

The folks at TMZ managed to get their hands at a copy of Smith's contract for the films recently. Signed in June 2009 when Jaden was just 10 years old, the contract showed that he was paid in two instalments - one for $900,000 (RM2, 677, 050) and $100,000 (RM297, 450) – for the two films.

If you think that’s a lot for a kid, we are not counting the $2 million (near to RM6 million) bonus he got from the film’s overall box office performance as well as the other contractual perks and royalties.
