Robber steals kiss from maid

KUALA LUMPUR: An armed intruder sealed a hold-up in Cheras with a stolen kiss.
The man, who was armed with a knife, had tied up a maid after entering the two-storey terrace house in Jalan Budiman about 8.30am yesterday.
He then scooped up an assortment of valuables worth about RM6,000.
However, before fleeing, he turned amorous and began to grope and kiss the 23-year-old maid.
The maid later freed herself and lodged a police report.
Cheras police chief Asst Comm Mohan Singh Tara Singh said the incident had occurred right after the maid’s employer left for work.
He said the woman was doing household chores when the intruder, believed to be in his 20s, entered through the front door and threatened her with a knife.
“The man also took away five handphones, a camera and RM200 cash,” said Mohan Singh.
Meanwhile, in Gombak, a trailer driver was found unconscious after being stabbed twice in the abdomen during a robbery.
Lee Kuan Hee, 47, was on his way to the city when his vehicle, laden with scrap metal worth RM200,000, was stopped at 29.5km of the Karak highway.
He was found on Sunday at about 1.30am by a passer-by but his vehicle was missing.
Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rahim Abdullah said the trailer was found at about 5pm on the same day beside the road near AU3, Taman Keramat, with the scrap metal missing.
Lee was in stable condition at the Selayang hospital after undergoing surgery.
