On Attitutde..

Greetings to you on this Friday Morning !

“A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes”. - Hugh Downs. So true!

Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same. No one else makes us angry. We make ourselves angry when we surrender control of our attitude. We choose, not they. They merely put our attitude to a test. Having the right attitude is one of the basics that success requires.

Do you believe that attitude counts?

It’s like this - Nothing is interesting if you're not interested. Whenever you're in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude.

Take charge of your attitude. Don't let someone else choose it for you. Sometimes all it takes is a simple change in attitude to turn your life around. During days when you feel like you are in the dumps, adjust your thinking and plant more positive seeds of thought. Usually it works. Of course, it doesn't work 100% all the time, but majority of the time it does.

Charles Swindoll makes a perfect sense to me, when he writes ~ “The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, positions or skill. It will make or break a company... a group... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes”.

So hold a good attitude, and make it a great week ahead !
