Money falls from the 'sky'

Dozens of people were injured in a money grabbing frenzy in China.
The incident, which was a publicity stunt by a real estate company, occurred in Zhenjiang of Jiangsu province on Saturday.
The company hired beautiful women to throw money from a hot air balloon, Yangtze Evening Post reported.
Thousands of people scrambled for the falling 5 yuan (RM2.30) and 10 yuan (RM4.60) notes.
However, since the wind was deemed too strong for the hot-air balloon to be steady, the money-throwing was halted for a while.

The women then climbed to the balcony of a nearby building to continue throwing the money to the public.
More people thronged the place when they started throwing 50 yuan (RM23) and 100 yuan (RM46) notes.
Suddenly, some people started screaming.
In the frenzy to grab the notes, dozens of people fell and were stepped on while some were crushed against the wall.

An old woman said tearfully: "It's too crazy. My false teeth were knocked out."
The event sponsor, Zhenjiang Xingyao Real Estate Development, said they did not expect the situation to be so chaotic.
A spokesman said the company was willing to cover the medical expenses of those injured.
