KEMAMAN: A 66-year-old bomoh has been detained for allegedly molesting a teenager he was treating.
The 19-year-old victim had gone to the bomoh's house in Kampung Kemasik at about 9am on Saturday with her family members.
After treating her grandfather, the bomoh led the victim to a room, insisting that the treatment required privacy.
While in the room, he began fondling her legs, breasts and private parts.
The victim managed to escape and went back with her family. She only told them about the molest when they were on the way home to Kuala Terengganu.
Her family members took her to the Chukai police station to lodge a report.
Kemaman OCPD Supt Abdullah Sani Salat said the suspect was detained at his home at about 5pm the same day.
